About the Artist: I am a painter who paints canvases and wooden panels with acrylic paint and brush. I also spray paint murals, paint signs for businesses, and custom paintings. My mediums of choice are acrylic paint, spray paint and enamel paint. I enjoy working with mixed media as well sometimes using spray paint, acrylic and enamel paint on the same painting. I am heavily inspired by nature with all its beautiful colors found within animals, plants, landscapes, sunsets, and sun rises. I often mimic the colors of the sky in my work which makes my painting bright with colors and perfect for making the artwork pop which is what I’m always after. I catch inspiration from everything. I can be eating a slice of pizza, having a beer with my slice and all of a sudden I know I have to paint a pizza slice kissing a glass of beer.
What drew you to wanting to with with ALPACA?
I was drawn to ALPACA because I always enjoy being around creatives because artists tend to inspire each other which is good for everyone. I knew surrounding myself with other artists would have a positive impact on my life. This community appeals to me because I see so much talent and potential within which will bring local artists together to work together, learn together, teach together and share tips and tricks together helping everyone involved level up their artistic game and knowledge. I'm able to support our mission by sharing the knowledge that I have with my type of artwork as well as help during events with set ups and take downs making sure things are as smooth as they can be. I am willing to do work for ALPACA on days where there are no events as well.
