Originally from Texas, Cryptic Enigma aka "The weirdest dude in Austin" is a muralist and painter who grew up with a passion for creating visual art. His name, like his style, is meant to be mysterious, as he is always experimenting with non-traditional and sustainable materials and not tied to one style.
In 2018, he moved to Austin, following the artistic energy he felt from the city.
This pursuit for creative energy is a constant. His colorful, surreal, and bold styles emerged from his consistent practice and participation in live painting and local events.
Currently, Cryptic is focusing on creating a body of work that truly reflects himself. His journey brings him along side similar strange characters such as the ALPACA community!
