About the Artist:
As a young blob, I was fixated on the flashing lights and stimulations of the NES, which I feel formed my earliest developments of a love of the hyper-stimulation. I have also been a fan of cartoons, and find ways to still exist in a cartoon space while creating art. Originally creating buddy icons for AIM as digital animations, after seeing Homestar Runner I moved up to Macromedia Flash in 7th grade. In 2004 I joined the Weebl and Bob forums where I met ZekeySpaceLizard, who is one of the most incredible beings in all of known existence, who encouraged me to join the community known as Newgrounds. From there I developed a love of spam flash, and new ways to use the software.
Though I no longer make interactive content, or rarely even animations, I still use Flash to produce my vector content. I stride to express ineffable experiences through pattern and familiarity, and remind us even on a normal day, of the channels that exist within our minds. I've always related to pareidolia, and put as many "faces in places" as I can in a lot of my works.
I do murals and other physical pieces, but my Blobs of Color, forms AND name, stem from vector creations.
I currently share a studio space with my artistic girlfriend and fellow ALPACA member, Rami (Electric Lotus Art), and we call it The Cosmic Niche, an immersive blacklight experience! Hit us up to come get lost in our space sometime.

What drew you to be involved with ALPACA?
Community is one of the most important things to me, and sharing visionary experiences helps us all work towards unlocking that mystery.
