Axuro LTD is a collection of fine art by artist Waldo Harrison, founder of ALPACA. Having no formal training, his technique has been shaped over a decade of experimentation across countless mediums and techniques. From painting, engraving, and metalworking, to electronic tinkering, digital art, and 3D printing, his work explores the meeting point between art and technology.
Axuro LTD is defined by a fusion of optical illusions, color spectrums, and cymatic frequency distortions, often interwoven with wireframe figures and technological elements. Futuristic mediums like aluminum panels, DIY electronics, and 3D printing have pushed his work into new territory, balancing precision with vibrant visual freedom. With the addition of Axuro Lighting Co & Tattoos, diversification has created the stability needed to commit to art full-time.
Whether it’s making artwork on metal panels, forging animated masterpieces, or building LED art installations, the diverse applications of Axuro LTD are united by the intersection of technology and fine art.

What drew you to founding ALPACA?
I moved to Austin in 2021 and quickly became involved in the local art scene. While our city is full of talent and creative energy, I was surprised by the lack of an inclusive, member-run collective focused on visionary artwork. I wanted to be part of a community that encouraged growth and offered real opportunities without unaffordable entry fees, egos, and drama. After years of networking, participating in events, and quiet planning behind the scenes, I teamed up with fellow artists to bring this vision to life.
We had no budget and no formal plan, just a shared dream of creating greater opportunities for ourselves and fellow creators, along with a space for collaboration and education. The support we have received has been overwhelming. I am deeply grateful to the talented artists who not only create incredible work, but have also volunteered their time and skills to help build our shared success.
